Tour Overview
A 4days safari gives you a chance to experience and spot Big Five animals and other interesting animals. With Dendea Safaris you will be immersed in the unspoiled nature of real Africa, you will see wild animals up close and take photos of the wonderful landscapes of Tanzania.
All this with the assistance of a Tour Operator based in Arusha, full board on safari, personal English-speaking guide, and private use of the jeep (with mineral water, power sockets, binoculars) and selected accommodations.
Itinerary
Day 1: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Program: Pick up from the Airport early morning and start your tour to Serengeti NP WITH your Lunch boxes game en- route.
ACTIVITY: Game Drive ACCOMODATION: Serengeti Heritage Luxury Camp
DAY 2: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Early morning game drive to see also natural predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light followed by a day filled with more drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year .
Drive to the Northern Serengeti you can spot the migration heads crossing the famous Mara river also lions, elephants, giraffes, zebra, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, different species of birds, and other species.
Activities of the day: Game drives. Accommodation: Heritage Luxury Tented. OR Serenity Camps & Lodges.
DAY 3: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CA
Safari from Serengeti to Ngorongoro we start after morning game drive in Serengeti National Park.
Thereafter depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Masai boma for culture tour. After tour visit and continue with safari to Karatu Area Via Ngorongoro CA where you will stay at the lodge for resting and overnight at Rhino Lodge in Ngorongoro Conservation Area .
Activities of the day: Game Drives: ACCOMODATION: Rhino Lodge Ngorongoro .
DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER.
As very few animals migrate in and out of the Crater with its 600 hundred matters high walls you may expect to spot herds of African elephants, zebra, buffalos, warthogs, hippos, and the rare black rhinos, in their natural habitats. Another big draw card in this big caldera is the denser population of predators which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetah, and the illusive leopards which some times needs binoculars to sport. You will visit lake magadi large but shallow Salt Lake on the south west corner of the crater floor frequently visited by flocks of flamingos and other aquatic birds. Some hippos and other animals can also be seen around the lake.
Later afternoon drives out back to Arusha for drop off at Kilimanjaro International Airport or for Overnight in Arusha (Accommodation on this day can be included upon request at extra cost).
